Lab Assistant (Saturday)

• At least a completed VMBO education;
• You are available on Saturday mornings and on call during the week;
• Work experience within a laboratory and production environment is a plus;

Approximately 600 motivated experts manage the process from sampling to the digital reporting of the analytical results. Analyses primarily take place in the large laboratories in Amsterdam (Eurofins Omegam) and Barneveld (Eurofins Analytico).

Purpose of the position
As a lab assistant, you will initially perform sample pre-treatments under the guidance of an experienced laboratory technician and later perform pre-treatments independently. You will first become acquainted with one type of equipment or technique, and you will carry out your activities based on regulations and instructions, working with precision.

Responsibilities
You perform actions for the purpose of pre-treating sample material, such that:

• Various techniques are applied using different equipment;
• You determine which actions must be performed based on the regulations;
• You identify irregularities and present them to your supervisor;
• You will handle the materials used responsibly, such that: Attention has been paid to your own safety and that of others in the laboratory;
• You use the equipment used in the correct manner and present problem situations to your supervisor.

Available on Saturday mornings from 8 am and potentially on call during the week (on-call agreement).
