Senior Project Controller

The figures behind a project only truly tell a story when you see what is happening on the outside. As a project controller, you therefore do not work from the sidelines, but in the middle of the project. For example, for the N247 project in the Hoorn area, you are the financial conscience of the team. You identify opportunities and risks, advise on control measures, and ensure that the project remains financially in control.

From project reports to forecasts and from financial analyses to strategic advice: your work has a direct influence on the decisions that are made. Precisely because you are close to the execution, you understand what is happening and can switch quickly when circumstances change.

• You set up the financial organization of the project and ensure clear processes and reliable management information.
• Periodically, you translate the figures into project reports and forecasts that the project team can use immediately.
• Together with project management, you steer towards project results, project valuation, and financial control.
• You map out risks and contractual points of attention early on, so that surprises are prevented.
• In addition to your activities on the project, you also apply your financial expertise to tenders and other complex issues.

This is what you can expect from us:

• A gross period (4 weeks) salary of € 5,000.00 to € 6,000.00 for a full-time employment (40 hours).
• 26 vacation days for a full-time employment plus 4 to 6 collectively designated free days per year. Additionally, you can purchase extra vacation days.
• An electric lease car or a mobility budget of at least € 930.- gross per month for an employment of 40 hours.
• A laptop and phone.

You enjoy seeking collaboration with project teams and translating what is happening on the outside into clear financial insights. With your sharp eye, you see risks and opportunities approaching in time and discuss them proactively with the project organization. You dare to ask critical questions, maintain an overview in a dynamic environment, and help colleagues to make well-founded choices. Precisely because you are close to the project, you make a real difference.

• A completed bachelor's or master's degree in business economics, business administration, or a similar economic or financial field.
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience as a project controller in a complex project environment.
• Experience with project-based working and an affinity for construction, infrastructure, and maritime projects.
• A good command of the Dutch language.
• The flexibility to switch between different projects, stakeholders, and issues.
