For AniCura Animal Hospital Tilburg, we are looking for an experienced veterinarian with clear expertise in orthopedics. You will be given the space to work independently, to develop further, and to help build upon the further growth of our orthopedic care.

As an orthopedic veterinarian, you guide patients from consultation and diagnostics to treatment, surgery, and aftercare. You will receive a varied and challenging referral caseload and work independently within your expertise.

Additionally:

• You independently perform orthopedic consultations and treatments.

• You perform orthopedic surgeries appropriate to your experience and expertise.

• You work closely with colleagues within surgery, neurology, cardiology, dentistry, and imaging.

• You discuss complex cases with colleagues and actively share your knowledge.

• You maintain contact with referring veterinarians and ensure good handover and communication.

• You contribute ideas regarding the further development of our orthopedic care.

AniCura Animal Hospital Tilburg combines primary care with specialist referral medicine. Within our hospital, various expertises work closely together, including orthopedics, neurosurgery, spinal surgery, dentistry, cardiology, and medical imaging.

For orthopedic patients, we have extensive diagnostic and surgical capabilities, including CT, digital X-ray, ultrasound, and arthroscopy, modern operating rooms, and extensive anesthesia and monitoring equipment.

Our caseload is broad: from lameness diagnostics and trauma to complex joint and bone problems. We perform, among others, TPLOs, patellar luxation surgeries, elbow and hip surgery, fracture surgery, and arthroscopic procedures. Expertise is also available for, among others, DPO and hip prostheses.
